Interested in EmPower+? Your first step is to apply directly through NYSERDA. PRIME can help you understand the general process and prepare for a productive conversation about your home.

1. Apply with NYSERDA

Create a MyEnergy profile, complete the official application and upload the requested supporting documents. NYSERDA reviews eligibility and determines the next program steps.

2. Have Your Information Ready

  • Property address and applicant contact information

  • Utility account information and recent energy bills

  • Household income documentation when requested

  • Basic details about the home, heating system and fuel

  • Owner approval when required for rental properties

3. Follow the Program Review

Monitor your application through NYSERDA. Eligibility, available incentives, approved measures, contractor selection or assignment, and final project approval are determined by NYSERDA under current program requirements.
